    HBR Consulting is seeking an Executive Assistant for the Firm’s New York office. Specifically, we are seeking a pro-active, highly organized, client facing professional to support a mix of our Practice Group Leaders and Managing Directors (local and remote).

    Responsibilities

    Provide executive administrative support in the following areas, but not limited to:

    • Supervise a team of 2-4 administrative professionals
    • Work hand in hand with the Office Manager regarding the management of the New York office space, supplies, equipment, etc.
    • Extensive travel arrangements in the U.S. and occasionally abroad.
    • Outlook calendar management: scheduling meetings, conference rooms, events, etc.
    • Utilization of PowerPoint and Excel to update presentation, reports, etc.
    • Edit, proofread, and redline documents for accuracy, grammar and formatting.
    • Process complex employee expenses in a timely fashion and in accordance with company TE policy.
    • Support in special projects, or external client related work (RFPs, proposals, team events, etc.)
    • Ensure a welcoming and well-maintained work environment.
    • Support and promote HBR’s internal policies, procedures and processes.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
    • 7+ years administrative experience required, preferably in a professional services environment supporting executive level individuals
    • Experience managing a team/direct reports
    • Highly organized and able to prioritize under pressure
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to deal with highly confidential and sensitive information
    • Positive attitude, appetite for development
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and anticipate last minute changes
    • Attention to detail
    • Flexibility with last minute changes
