    HBR Consulting LLC (HBR) is seeking a marketing director to be part of its growing IT managed services (ITMS) business. As marketing director of ITMS, you will act as a collaborative business partner that drives business and marketing strategy for ITMS and adds value through the development of go-to-market messaging, content and campaigns for continued growth and profitability.

     
    HBR delivers advisory, managed services and software solutions that increase productivity and profitability, while mitigating risk for law firms, law departments and corporations. The newly formed ITMS business is a rapidly growing area of focus for HBR with tremendous potential to shape the future of the business of law.     In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategic plan, identifying high-growth market segments and the strategies and tactics for exploiting those segments to drive profitable growth. Working closely with the corporate marketing team, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency in brand execution, overseeing content development and delivery, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    • Positions and markets HBR as a recognized leader and provider of IT managed services
    • Assists in the development of marketecture, buyer pain points and personas and develops and tests go-to-market messaging that aligns with identified buyer personas for ITMS
    • Develops a strategic marketing plan for the business that includes thought leadership, hosted events and / or industry conferences and digital campaigns
    • Supports the transition of Managed Technology Services, an HBR Consulting solution, to the master brand of HBR Consulting
    • Collaborates with content manager to drive thought leadership that strengthens HBR’s position in the market and ensures that all marketing initiatives are tailored to the appropriate audience
    • Collaborates with digital strategist to execute on marketing campaigns, including email, sponsored content and social media
    • Writes internal and external communications and creates increased visibility and transparency regarding marketing activities and overall business and marketing processes
    • Determines priority, scope and delivery of marketing activities for ITMS; manages the design, development and revision of project plans and adheres to established timelines; manages and tracks budgets
    • Creates and delivers presentations on business goals and plans, including ROI
    • Serves as marketing subject matter expert for managed services

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
    • 10+ years' experience in a B2B marketing role within a professional services firm or IT managed services-related industry
    • Experience in partnering with subject matter experts to enhance business development and sales efforts
    • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects and develop messaging for highly technical products or services
    • Strategic thinker with the ability identify and pursue high-level objectives
    • Experienced in collaborating with other marketing resources to enhance efforts
    • Self-starter that is eager to build a marketing strategy for a fast-growing area of business
    • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Project management experience a plus
    • Experience in IT managed services, e-Discovery services or data center marketing a plus
