  • Overview

    HBR Consulting LLC (HBR) is seeking a CLM Implementation Director for the Firm. Specifically, this individual works in conjunction with senior service line leadership and whose role will be to develop new business opportunities, advise on project methodology, bring industry experience/insight and control overall quality of client service and project deliverables.

    Responsibilities

    • The candidate for this position will be required to, but not limited to:
    • Lead project management activities such as managing to project scope, managing project budgets, forecasting resourcing, and status reporting both for clients and to internal service line leadership.  
    • Communicate effectively with all client management levels.
    • Direct the management of a variety of project types while also demonstrating expertise in a particular area of focus in our Legal Department Consulting service areas, as dictated either by skill or industry need.
    • Assist with continual practice improvement by enhancing methodologies, practice aids, project delivery approaches and tools.
    • Promoting business through writing, research and maintaining other publicly facing material, such as marketing collateral the company website.
    • To expand and identify current and develop new business opportunities and nurture key client relationships.
    • Determine, develop and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
    • Infuse the practice group with a sense of purpose and create clear accountability. Establish a track record as a reliable, "go to" performer. Set and adjust priorities effectively; remove barriers and act with an appropriate sense of urgency. Energize others to excel and continuously improve.
    • Directly influence the profitability of the practice through revenue generation and project execution.

     

    Qualifications

    • Ten or more years of experience working in or with corporate functions/departments such as Legal, Finance, Procurement or Sales Operations (this may be either in a consulting or in-house capacity).
    • Proven track record of building and managing client relationships and leading high-visibility consulting projects
    • Seven or more years of experience delivering projects, including overseeing other resources to the completion of their tasks.
    • Demonstrate knowledge about, and experience in, at least two or more of the following areas of focus:
      • IT implementation methodologies, including agile and iterative
      • Contract lifecycle management solutions
      • Sales operation facilitation solutions, i.e. CPQ
      • Strategic sourcing management solutions
      • Revenue recognition and management solutions
      • Legal matter and spend management solutions
      • Document management or content management solutions
      • CRMs such as Salesforce or Dynamics
      • Experience integrating with, or migrating legacy data into, any of the above
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry, business and financial data and reports.
    • Experience in business development to include proposal writing, marketing initiatives, and/or professional presentations (e.g., workshops, seminars, symposiums).
    • Possess excellent client-facing communication skills (written and spoken).
    • Ability to manage a project plan or budget.
    • Supervise resources on project deliverables.
    • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Email.
    • IT Project management.
    • Salesforce certification(s) preferred.
    • PMP a plus.
    • Apttus certification(s) a plus.
    • Microsoft certification(s) a plus.

    Travel Requirements

    • This role requires 40-50% travel.
