  • Overview

    HBR Consulting is seeking an HR Business Partner for the company. Specifically, we are seeking a dynamic team oriented individual to support the development and delivery of strategic and tactical services within our entrepreneurial, growth oriented organization. This position will partner with one or more assigned functions / business units and will be responsible for understanding of the group’s needs and challenges, identifying HR initiatives to support those needs.


    • Supports and the delivery, implementation and ongoing maintenance of:

    Core HR Processes:

        • Annual Performance Management Cycle
        • Employee Benefits
        • Coaching + feedback
        • Onboarding + Exits
        • Communication plans
        • Training + Development plans
        • Compensation Programs
        • Employee Relations
    • Support Director of Talent in executing annual Talent plan and strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Dedicated focus on employee relations and partnering with senior-level executives
    • As assigned, leads strategic and operational Talent program re-designs and implementations
    • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to provide continual improvements for business unit objectives, productivity, utilization, and development of HR within the company.
    • Align HBR and practice goals with employee goals/development.
    • Serves as an employee champion to enable career fulfillment and progression.
    • Manage and advise on employee relations situations; ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk
    • Consult with senior management within business units through strategic relationship building, strong business acumen, and human resource knowledge to provide support for varying HR related matters.
    • Lead organizational change initiatives to drive and improve efficiency
    • Provide strategic guidance in the areas of team supervision and management
    • Update and monitor adherence to HR policies/procedures and timelines; ensure legal compliance
    • Acts as a cultural steward to encourage positive morale.
    • Knowledgeable of industry trends/regulations.
    • Work with 3rd parties SMEs as needed.


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 3-5+ years’ HR experience in a professional services environment
    • SHRM certification preferred
    • Experience with fast growth, entrepreneurial, environments
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and experience managing employee relations situations
    • Prior experience executing organization-wide HR programs
    • Excellent skills in the following areas: judgment, building trust, influence, written and verbal communication, business acumen, consulting, conflict management
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated resourcefulness, ability to take initiative, and think outside the box to develop solutions
    • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
    • Permanent U.S. work authorization



    • May require 10-20% travel
