    HBR Consulting LLC (HBR) is seeking a Payroll Specialist to be part of its Talent team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for all Payroll and employee data system-related duties, working in the company’s HRIS platform (Insperity).  

    Responsibilities

    • Payroll + Insperity Administration
      • Administers bi-monthly payroll process
      • Manages international payroll / PEO responsibilities (Insperity, Safeguard in UK and India, PEO Canada)
      • Facilitates year end W2, benefits, all compliance reporting through Insperity
      • Monitors special commissions, bonus payments, and guarantees appropriate timing of payments.
      • Creates log in partnership with Finance Business Partners
      • Monitors and facilitates annual payroll calendar and ensures all deadlines are hit
      • Monitors and facilitates approval chain to ensure payment accuracy and transparency
      • Compiles reports as necessary
    • Data Integrity
      • Instill processes to guarantee data accuracy across all employee data points
      • Leads quarterly reconciles and other ad hoc requests
    • PTO Tracking + Reconcile
      • Accesses employee time tracking systems to pull PTO, Sick, time and input into Insperity
      • Completes prior year reconcile
      • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
    • 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably within professional services environment
    • Prior experience in payroll and employee data systems
    • CPP certification preferred (Certified Payroll Professional)
    • Excel knowledge and proficiency with other MS Office applications, including Word and Outlook calendar.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Extreme attention to detail.
    • Must have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
    • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
    • Must have the ability to take own initiative and work independently.
    • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
