HBR Consulting LLC (HBR) is seeking a Recruiter for the Firm. Specifically, we are seeking a dynamic team oriented individual to support the recruiting needs of HBR at all levels across the US.  This person will build relationships with key internal stakeholders and candidates as well as manage and execute all recruitment while following the HBR recruiting process.



  • Work directly with hiring managers to understand their business, develop recruiting strategies, attract top quality candidates, coordinate and manage interviewing process, drive offer/negotiation, and solidify start date and on-boarding processes.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager on recruitment process.
  • Schedule onsite phone interviews and onsite interviews on a national basis.
  • Identify candidate sources based on budget and other considerations.  Recommend new strategies as necessary to meet recruiting needs.
  • Work with Business Partners and/or business unit hiring managers to clarify job specifications and recruitments to fill current and future hiring needs and modify job descriptions as appropriate.
  • Post internal and external job advertisements for open positions.
  • Analyze application materials, screen applicants and setup interviews schedules with appropriate managers for prospective employees.
  • Manage the employee referral process including resume review and follow up.
  • Deliver well-timed recruiting activity updates and scheduled reports to all pertinent individuals, including Talent Acquisition Manger or hiring managers as necessary.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience throughout process from initial recruiter communication through final interviews. Provide appropriate follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • In consultation with Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring manager, facilitate offer approval, extend offers of employment, close candidates and generate offer letters.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records pertaining to recruiting activity, including input and maintaining of Applicant Tracking System – iCims.
  • Develop new sources to identify and proactively build a warm bench of talent via LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking events, etc and conduct initial calls to potential candidate.
  • Manage campus recruitment process.
  • Experience with sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Serve as recruiting contact person in absence of Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Human Resources, Business, or Marketing.
  • 3 - 7 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in an in-house environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience from search firm.
  • Full lifecycle recruiting experience in several disciplines. Experience with consulting and technology recruiting preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationship management experience working with hiring managers in delivering recruiting results.
  • 3+ years of experience sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter is a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of an ATS (ideally iCims) including functionality, capabilities, and customizations.
  • Experience working with LinkedIn, Glassdoor or Indeed is a must. 
  • Creative sourcing background and ability to track and communicate recruiting data.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and comfort level adapting to HBR’s recruiting and tracking processes.
  • Team player who can also work independently and multitask.
  • Proven track record of results.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.


  • Travel may be expected from time to time - up to 10%.
