Overview

HBR Consulting, LLC is seeking a Consultant, Information Governance for the company. Specifically, we are seeking a pro-active, highly organized, customer service oriented professional.

Consultants work closely with Managers, Directors and Managing Directors on client assignments. This includes assisting in the assessment and gap analyses of RIM and IG programs, systems, and business processes. Consultants assist in formulating best practice improvements and conversion approaches, developing reports; creating timelines; writing policy and procedures; assisting with development and implementation of records retention schedules, and design and deployment of electronic content management systems.

Responsibilities

Provide business development support in the following areas, but not limited to:   

  • Assist in the evaluation of existing practices and identification of gaps against best practices
  • Support to records management program design and development including policy, standards and procedure development
  • Development of standardized formats and templates for deliverables
  • Support in developing Records Retention Schedules
  • Quality control reviews of deliverables
  • Assistance with key thought leadership events and collateral
  • Project management and change management support
  • Develops work plans, completes complex analyses, prepares "client-ready" output
  • Develop client relationship skills
  • Business Development support – proposals, prospective client presentations, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. CRM, IGP or CIPP certification a plus
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in an IG / RIM-related role and /or consulting team-oriented environment
  • Skilled in writing and formatting reports, charts, policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Adept at working with professionals in a wide-variety of levels
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with others
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Familiarity of office technologies including Office 365, SharePoint, content management systems, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Travel

  • This position requires up to 40% of domestic travel
